REVIEWS
"Deep colour and some toasty oak plus earthy development on the nose. Blackberry conserve on the palate, rich and ripe, sweet fruit, then liberal drying tannins backing up. There's a warm alcohol afterglow but it fits the wine well. Plush wine, a real crowd-pleaser, and astounding value for money. 92/00."

Ripe dark fruit aromas of chocolate and plum. Ripe dark fruits, dense, gentle tannins, cederwood, supple tannins, delicious. WINE STYLEFull bodied dry red, great to drink with a rich Osso Bucco, game meats or with a selection of strong hard cheeses. WINEMAKINGFruit is sourced from carefully selected parcels of Shiraz grown on the red volcanic soils of Northern Heathcote. Fruit is harvested to achieve a balance of fruit ripeness and soft acidity. Grapes are destemmed and crushed into static fermenters. The resultant wine is then fermented for 7-8 days on skins prior to pressing and racking. 25% of the blend was matured for 12 months in older casks and the remainder stays in tank for freshness and brightness.
